Yep, that’s right, I’m making anohter posting, and it’s the weekend! I’m in the office putting the finishing touches to a lecture I’m giving to 2nd year Occupational Therapy students next week, and also catching up on homework for the Web 2.0 project.

I’m getting a lot out of each class, and am looking forward to feeling savvy enough to share what I’ve learnt with colleagues (any day now, ha ha!) I think tools like del.icio.us will be really popular with my team as we all spend a bit of time on the computer and everyone here likes to keep up with what’s out there, whether it’s research or great clinical/client resources. The bloglines would probably be good to share too, but like me, I think most of my colleagues think of blogs as being more about people sharing personal rather than professional information. Who knows – only one way to find out!

Hi you geek working over the weekend that is not good practice…leading a balanced life and all!!! I really like the links you have on your site especially the OT4function one looks like a great resource. I agree that del.iciou.us is probably going to be the most used site. Though in saying that the more traffic I get on my blog the more I want to do!!!

I must say I was impressed with a weekend posting! What was your lecture – perhaps its something you could add to your blog???
I could see how del.icio.us would work really well for your team – and in fact we are experimenting here a bit with our librarian Wendy who when she finds something she thinks is useful for OT’s then she tags it tekotago. I’ll have to come back with the full tags she uses..

Good idea, I could leave some of the info from my lecture. It was to second year students about the role of the occupational therapist in a community rehabilitation setting. I used two case studies, one concussion/TBI and one hypoxic/acquired brain injury. It seemed to go alright….no one fell asleep and no one seemed to be texting!
Yeah I’ve visited Wendy’s blog – lots of goodies!
