I am very v e r y slowly getting the hang of this, but already I’m finding it really useful. I’ve talked about what we’re learning with some work colleagues, and they seem pretty impressed…or very polite!
I’ve got a student on placement with me at the moment and I can really see the value in some of the Web 2.0 tools we’ve learnt so far for her. Supervising a student always makes me realise how much knowledge and skills we take for granted, so it’s really interesting learning alongside her - albeit about something completely different.
This is my first posting from home. We, or should that be my other half (!!!) has a Mac, and I just can’t seem to get the hang of using it. So far so good today though - I’ve nearly done alll my weekends homework, yay!
